Live Classical Guitar performance in the most iconic 15th century hall of the Castle Area

Discover the ultimate experience in Naxos Old Town. Visit the historic 15th-century mansion, once the Archbishop’s Palace, and savor the enchanting music of globally acclaimed guitarist and soloist, Nikos Karavias, in our unique and atmospheric venue.

Nikos has always been passionate about “μουσική” – music , a Greek word derived from “Μούσες” – the Muses, the nine daughters of “Δίας” – Zeus and “Μνημοσύνη” Memoire, Memory. Under the leadership of “Απόλλωνας” – Apollo, who is also known as “Απόλλων Μουσηγέτης” -Appolon the leader of Muses.

Surrender to a unique journey through time with the enchanting sounds of Nikos’s creations, and feel the energy of the 500-year-old foundation. Complete your experience on the terrace, where you can witness a breathtaking sunset as the sun sets behind the Temple of Apollo, immersing yourself in the profound energy of the surroundings.

The guitar session lasts for approximately one hour, from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Immediately afterward, we head to the roof to unwind and take in the breathtaking transformation of the sea, sun and sky as they change colors, welcoming the night.

During the event, you will be offered local wines (white, rosé, and red) and generous platters of local delicacies, including cheese, fruits, vegetables, and nuts. Most importantly, you will be warmly welcomed by friendly locals who will share insights about the island’s history and recommend the best spots for an unforgettable experience on our beloved island of Naxos.”
